Major Ammo Brands Expand Backing for Hunter Education Through Partnership with IHEA-USA

The International Hunter Education Association-USA (IHEA-USA) is proud to announce an expanded partnership with several ammo brands from The Kinetic Group, strengthening shared support for hunter education through investment in innovation, member engagement, and the future of safe and responsible participation in hunting and shooting sports.

These brands are highly recognized in the hunting and shooting industry and include Federal Ammunition, Remington, CCI, Speer, and Fiocchi of America. Through those brands, the company has long supported hunting, shooting sports, and conservation-focused outdoor participation.

Part of this partnership is supporting the EduTech Catalyst Fund, the 2026 IHEA-USA Annual Meeting & Training, and has also committed to sponsoring a PUP AI website assistant deployment for one state agency, helping improve public access to accurate, timely hunter education information.

"The support of these outstanding brands reflects the kind of forward-thinking partnership that helps move hunter education into the future," said Alex Baer, Executive Director of IHEA-USA. "Their investment not only supports our community today, but also helps us build smarter tools and stronger systems that can better serve agencies, instructors, and hunters nationwide."

The EduTech Catalyst Fund was created to accelerate the development of modern education tools and technologies that help agencies, nonprofits, and conservation partners improve access to information, reduce staff burden, and strengthen educational delivery. This strong support will help the IHEA-USA continue to expand solutions that make hunter education more accessible and effective.

One of the most notable aspects of this partnership are the brands' commitment to fund a PUP AI deployment for a state agency, giving one state program access to IHEA-USA's secure, conversational website assistant designed specifically for hunter education environments. PUP AI helps agencies provide instant, accurate, and multilingual answers to common public questions while reducing workload for staff and improving digital service.

The backing will also support the 2026 IHEA-USA Annual Meeting & Training, helping bring together state agency leaders, volunteer instructors, and industry partners from across the country for collaboration, professional development, and shared learning.

"We're grateful for the commitment from these popular ammo brands. Their dedication in the mission of hunter education and their willingness to support both immediate and long-term impact," said Baer. "This is the kind of partnership that helps create meaningful momentum."
