The Houston Safari Club Foundation (HSCF) is pleased to announce the hiring of Kristen Wells as Director of Convention & Events. In this role, Kristen will lead the strategic planning and execution of HSCF's signature events, including its Annual Worldwide Convention & Hunting Expo, while advancing the organization's mission through meaningful, high-impact experiences.
Kristen brings more than 20 years of experience in live events and experiential engagement, with a professional background that spans conferences, national meetings, trade shows, community activations, professional sports partnerships, and large-scale live productions. Her expertise positions HSCF to continue elevating its events as premier platforms for conservation, education, and community connection.
Driven by the belief that meaningful experiences strengthen communities and inspire long-term support, Kristen approaches her work with a focus on both strategy and purpose. Her core strengths include strategic planning, budget stewardship, partner and vendor management, and collaborative leadership—ensuring that each event not only operates at a high level but also delivers lasting value for attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, and stakeholders.
