Colt Joins SAF as Gold-Level Corporate Partner

The Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) is pleased to announce that Colt's Manufacturing Company has joined the organization as a Gold-level corporate partner.

"Colt supports the Second Amendment Foundation's legal initiatives because safeguarding the constitutional rights of responsible citizens is closely aligned with our heritage and mission," said Jillair Kubish, President and Chief Executive Officer of Colt. "As a company with a long history of serving military, law enforcement and civilian communities, we believe it is important to help ensure those rights are clearly upheld and respected."

Colt's Manufacturing Company LLC is a leading designer, developer, and manufacturer of firearms. Founded by Samuel Colt in 1836, Colt has supplied civilian, military, and law enforcement customers in the United States and internationally for more than 185 years. The company operates its manufacturing facility in West Hartford, Conn., and is a member of Colt CZ Group SE.

"Colt has been a household name for almost 200 years, and they know all too well what can happen when lawmakers take it upon themselves to determine which constitutional rights citizens can exercise," said SAF Executive Director Adam Kraut. "That's why Colt has teamed up with SAF to ensure the fights in courtrooms across the country each and every day continue uninterrupted – restoring freedom to those who have lost it. We're thrilled Colt has joined the SAF family and look forward to working alongside them to ensure Americans can fully exercise their Second Amendment freedoms for generations to come."
