Held March 17–22 at Coyote Springs Sporting Clays in Tucson, Arizona, the 2026 NSCA Western Regional Championships brought together more than 600 shooters for the first stop of this year's eight-event National Sporting Clays Association Championship Tour, offering an early look at the season ahead amid warmer-than-usual early spring temperatures.
Derrick Mein won HOA in the Krieghoff-sponsored FITASC event with a score of 97 out of 100. He also finished Runner-Up in both the Main and 5-Stand events. Brandon Powell took the Prelim High Overall title hitting 98 out of 100 targets, and Runner-Up in the FITASC event. Jonathan Prince earned Junior Champion in the Main Event, along with Junior Runner-up in 5-Stand and Junior 3rd in Super Sporting.
Kiersten Sales finished Lady 3rd in the Main Event, Shelby Moon earned the Lady Champion title in the Prelim, and Madison Sharpe was Lady Runner-up in 5-Stand. Mike Wilgus recorded multiple podium finishes across the week, including a Veteran Champion title in the Prelim, along with Veteran Runner-up in FITASC and 5-Stand, and Veteran 3rd in Super Sporting.
Against strong competition across every class, Team Krieghoff shooters placed across multiple events throughout the week. Krieghoff International congratulates all who competed in Tucson.
The World English will be the next stop on the tour, taking place April 22–26 at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas.
