GRITR Range, a premier indoor shooting range and gun training center located in DFW, Texas, has scheduled a series of in-person Texas License to Carry (LTC) classes for spring. The courses will be held at the facility's North Richland Hills location at 7901 Boulevard 26.
GRITR Range TX LTC class schedule for spring 2026:
- Sunday, March 29
- Saturday, April 11
- Sunday, April 26
- Saturday, May 2
- Sunday, May 31
Each session runs approximately eight hours (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM) and covers firearm safety, Texas carry laws, use of force, conflict de-escalation, and proper storage. Attendees complete a written exam followed by a shooting proficiency test. Those who pass receive the official LTC Handgun Training Certificate, required for the state license application.
For those unable to attend in person, GRITR Range also offers an online LTC class. The online course must be paired with a live fire qualification completed through a Texas DPS-approved instructor.
All courses are led by a Texas DPS Certified Instructor. Participants must already be familiar with their handgun prior to attending, as the class does not cover basic shooting fundamentals.
Holding a Texas LTC provides a range of benefits, including reciprocity in 37 states, exemption from background checks at the point of purchase, and expanded carry access in certain restricted locations.
