BILLINGS – Pictograph Cave State Park is hosting its fourth annual Earth Day Celebration from Thursday, April 16, to Sunday, April 19. Activities will take place in the visitor center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

The event will include an art show and sale featuring local artists on April 16 and 17. Over the weekend, speakers, historians, poets, musicians and more will share their own creative interpretations of the historic site in celebration of Earth Day.

Pictograph Cave State Park is a site of natural and cultural significance. Prehistoric peoples used the area for generations and left behind artifacts and pictographs, or rock paintings, some dating back over 2,000 years.
