
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service at the Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge is changing its hours of operation to 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday (CLOSED on Sundays) effective April 5, 2026.
Refuge passes, Federal Duck Stamps, and America The Beautiful passes continue to be available 7 days a week on recreation.gov, at the Crab Orchard Campground, along with a kiosk for Day passes at 8588 Route 148 in Marion, at the site of the former Visitor Center.
