The Texas Team Trail is proud to announce its return to Lake Texoma and West Bay Casino & Resort for the third stop of the 2026 Bass Pro Shops & Cabela's Texas Team Trail presented by Progressive. This year's event will be held April 24th and 25th at the West Bay Casino & Resort and is open to the public to enter and attend. The nationally televised and streamed event will also be featured through a variety of media outlets for fishing fans who cannot attend.
This will be the second time the trail has been hosted by West Bay Casino, on the shores of Lake Texoma. During the 2025 event, the local team of Clay and Trey Sammons bested a field of 274 anglers, winning with a mixed bag of smallmouth and largemouth weighing in at 20 pounds, 5 ounces. The team won a new Nitro Z-18 Pro boat package rigged with Garmin electronics, with total winnings worth $52,673.
The 2026 event will be based out of West Bay Casino and Resort, with takeoff and check-in less than 5 minutes away, on the boat ramps at Catfish Bay Marina. The waters of Lake Texoma will be the backdrop for the competition, where teams from several states will converge to compete for their share of the prizes. All weigh-in and registration activities will also take place at West Bay Casino.
