Carney, OK — A new video production is set to shine a spotlight on Oklahoma’s thriving deer breeding industry, highlighting why the Sooner State stands among the best places in America to raise and breed whitetail deer. The feature explores how Oklahoma’s balanced, sensible regulations support both economic growth and wildlife health, providing a stable environment for deer farmers to thrive.
The video takes viewers on a journey across the state, visiting two of Oklahoma’s premier deer farms to showcase the passion, innovation, and dedication that drive this growing agricultural sector. Through interviews with experienced breeders, the film captures the hard work and responsible stewardship that define Oklahoma’s approach to deer farming. The deer farms featured are Cougar Ridge and River Bend Whitetails.
A highlight of the production includes exclusive coverage of the Whitetails of Oklahoma Annual Picnic, hosted this year by River Valley Whitetails. This much-anticipated event brings together breeders, industry leaders, and families from across the region to celebrate the success and camaraderie within Oklahoma’s deer community. Viewers will get a behind-the-scenes look at the fellowship, education, and commitment to excellence that fuel this tight-knit group.

“Oklahoma’s regulatory framework has created one of the most supportive environments for deer farmers anywhere in the country,” said Keith Warren. “Our goal with this video is to show how that leadership translates into healthier herds, stronger farms, and a more sustainable future.”
