The Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation (CSF) welcomed lawmakers and leaders from the sporting-conservation community to its annual Congressional Sportsmen's Caucus (CSC) Leadership Dinner, an evening dedicated to recognizing bipartisan cooperation and charting a path forward for America's incredible sporting traditions. The gathering brought together current and former members of the CSC, alongside representatives from national conservation organizations and outdoor industry partners.
In the 119th Congress, the CSC Co-Chairs in the Senate are Sen. John Boozman (AR) and Sen. Angus King Jr. (ME). The Vice-Chairs in the Senate are Sen. Roger Marshall (KS) and Sen. Gary Peters (MI). In the House, the CSC Co-Chairs are Rep. Bruce Westerman (AR) and Rep. Jimmy Panetta (CA), and the Vice-Chairs are Rep. August Pfluger (TX) and Rep. Troy Carter (LA).
Throughout the 119th Congress, the CSC's leadership in both the House and the Senate has remained central to advancing commonsense solutions for sportsmen and women. As the largest bipartisan, bicameral caucus in Congress, the CSC maintains a reputation for collaboration and results. Over the past year, CSC-led efforts contributed to meaningful legislative outcomes to safeguard access to public lands, protect critical fisheries habitat, reform forest management practices, and more, including the enactment of the Wetlands Conservation and Access Improvement Act as well as the Modernizing Access to Our Public Waters (MAPWaters) Act.
The Leadership Dinner serves as a forum to recognize these accomplishments while reaffirming a shared commitment to stewardship of fish, wildlife, and habitat. Speakers throughout the evening emphasized that the priorities of the sporting-conservation community transcend party lines and remain deeply rooted in communities nationwide.
"The Congressional Sportsmen's Caucus continues to set the standard for collaborative leadership on conservation," said CSF President and CEO Jeff Crane. "By focusing on the needs of sportsmen and women, CSC members are advancing practical solutions that ensure America's sporting traditions remain strong for generations to come. The Leadership Dinner provides us with the opportunity to not only celebrate that, but to also focus in on what's ahead and recommit to working together for what truly matters most."
