
MILES CITY – Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Enforcement division is seeking information on a bull elk that was shot in the Custer National Forest recently.
FWP Region 7 Warden Kyle Queer is investigating the poaching of a bull that was shot from the road on forest land southwest of Broadus in Powder River County. Warden Queer believes the bull was shot the evening of Feb. 21. The animal's head, backstraps and all four quarters were taken.
Anyone with possible information about this incident is encouraged to call Warden Queer at 406-853-7700 or visit tipmont.mt.gov to report it. You may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
