Team Mathews Wins Indoor World Series at Nîmes

Team Mathews Shooter, Stephan Hansen, captured first place in the Men's Compound Division at the 2026 World Archery Indoor World Series event in Nîmes, France, one of the most prestigious indoor archery tournaments in the world.

Competing against an elite international field inside the Palais des Sports, Hansen delivered a dominant performance from qualification rounds through the gold medal match, ultimately securing the top spot on the podium.

The Nîmes stage of the World Archery Indoor World Series annually draws thousands of fans and the best compound shooters from around the globe. Hansen's 2026 victory marks his second career win in the Compound Men's division, having previously claimed gold at the event in 2017.

"This win in Nîmes is special, especially with back to back wins at the Rushmore Rumble," said Derek Phillips, Mathews Pro Staff Manager. "It's one of the biggest indoor stages in our sport and watching everything come together for Hansen when it matters most is incredibly rewarding. I'm proud of the entire team for competing on a stage that demands performance at the highest level."

Team Mathews' success in Nîmes extended beyond the Men's Compound field, as Team Shooter Amanda Mlinaric earned a second-place finish in the Women's Compound Division.
