The Mule Deer Foundation (MDF) is proud to announce an official partnership with the technology-driven outdoor access platform, Infinite Outdoors. Under this partnership, the organizations will work collaboratively to advance conservation efforts and strengthen outdoor recreation opportunities for hunters, wildlife enthusiasts, and landowners nationwide.
The two organizations collaborated in 2025 on the Access Granted initiative, a program created by Infinite Outdoors, to expand free legal access to previously landlocked public lands enclosed by private property. Prior to launching Access Granted, Infinite Outdoors' technology was also used by landowners to offer paid access opportunities to sportsmen who shared a commitment to conservation and worked alongside managers and biologists to sustainably steward wildlife and habitat. That experience helped inform the Access Granted model, which expands public access while maintaining strong conservation outcomes for landowners and wildlife alike.
At launch, Access Granted opened thousands of acres of Bureau of Land Management, state, and National Forest land in Wyoming and Colorado. These efforts offered outdoor enthusiasts' year-round access by way of strategic agreements with private landowners. In addition, volunteers and staff implemented wildlife-friendly fencing at the Andrus Draw Access Granted property near Kaycee, Wyoming. This conservation initiative sparked what is now an official partnership between the two.
