C&H Precision (CHPWS), an industry-leading designer and manufacturer of precision optics, optics adapter plates, and pistol slide milling upgrades, announced today the launch of the ERD, a next-generation enclosed-emitter red-dot optic engineered for rifles, pistol-caliber carbines and personal defense weapons.
The ERD features an oversized 30mm objective lens, providing an expansive field of view designed to enhance situational awareness and enable rapid target acquisition. Built from reinforced 6061-T6 aluminum, the optic is rated to withstand recoil from +P, +P+, 5.56 and .308 platforms, delivering durability in demanding duty environments.
Designed with a Picatinny mount and T-2 footprint, the ERD incorporates a side-loading battery compartment, allowing users to replace the CR2032 battery without removing the optic or re-zeroing. The optic offers 10 brightness settings, including two night-vision-compatible levels, and delivers up to 50,000 hours of battery life on setting five.
The ERD is available with a 2 MOA dot, 22 MOA circle, or a multi-reticle configuration, combining both reticle options. Additional features include recessed and protected controls, an enclosed emitter design, rugged shockproof and waterproof construction, and C&H Precision's lifetime guarantee.
