Cloaninger competed with a 6.5 Creedmoor loaded with Nosler’s 6.5mm 140gr RDF bullets, finishing with a score of 91. The RDF’s high ballistic coefficient and reliable accuracy made it an ideal choice for taking on unknown-distance targets across the varied terrain.

The Dust Devil Duel is part of the NRL Hunter Series, designed to mimic real-world hunting scenarios with time constraints, unknown target locations, and variable wind conditions. The match tested both shooting fundamentals and gear reliability.
