Burris Optics continues to mark the 50th anniversary of the company’s heralded Fullfield riflescope with a series of short cinematic films debuting now through November. The Fullfield Stories series highlights the deep connection between this American heritage brand and the determined passions, wildlife conservation efforts, and the self-sufficiency traditions of this country’s hunting men and women.
The three-film series begins with Burris Fullfield Stories | Grand Woods. Dr. Woods, noted wildlife biologist, conservation advocate, and host of GrowingDeer.tv, shares his story of how an encounter with a deer at the age of six put him on a lifelong path in the pursuit quality whitetail land stewardship. “We manage with our trigger finger,” is Dr. Woods’ summation of wildlife conservation.
America’s hunting tradition is built on the legacy of those who have come before us — those who have broken the trails that we continue to follow. Just as Burris pursues innovation in the hunting optic pattern set by Don Burris fifty years ago, Stuart Ranch also honors tradition while incorporating modern ranching techniques into Oklahoma’s oldest, continuously family-owned cattle operation. Burris Fullfield Stories | Stuart Ranch is a welcome testimony that yesteryear’s grit and determination remain core values in today’s successful brands.
Hunters understand that their outdoor passions are not defined by the harvest but by the entirety of the hunting experience — family tradition, personal challenge, self-sufficiency, and moving in harmony with the natural world. Burris Fullfield Stories | Deer Meat for Dinner (coming soon) brings viewers into the whole of the outdoor lifestyle as lived by Robert and Sarah Arrington and their two daughters. In the spirit of American self-reliance and sustainment, the Arringtons share their unscripted, as-it-happens take on life in the outdoors — often gritty, always inspiring, and with family and faith at the core.
“The Burris Fullfield Stores series drives to the heart of what fuels the passion of American hunters,” said Jordan Egli, Director of Marketing at Burris Optics. “Burris Optics was born from a desire to bring high-quality, high-performance riflescopes to hunters who depend on wild game for food, who exercise wildlife management through recreational hunting, and who carry out the rich hunting traditions passed to them by preceding generations. These stories highlight the same spirit of conservation, heritage, tradition, and excellence that have been central to the Burris brand for half a century.”
