At ELEY, we are thrilled to celebrate the announcement that shooting will take centre stage at the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games, with the Convention Center in Long Beach officially confirmed as the host venue.
This landmark decision means that Para shooting will be aligned with Olympic shooting, reinforcing the unity and prestige of our sport on the world’s biggest stage. With 13 medal events set to take place in a purpose-built, temporary indoor range, shooting will be showcased right in the heart of Los Angeles, bringing athletes and fans closer than ever to the action.
What makes this even more special is knowing that every competition venue will be within a 35-mile radius, making LA28 one of the most connected Games yet. It’s an incredible opportunity for the global shooting community to come together, and for #teamELEY athletes to shine among the best in the world.
The LA28 Paralympic Games will run from August 15–27, 2028, and we couldn’t be prouder to support our athletes on their journey to the podium.
As ISSF President Luciano Rossi put it, ”Having shooting sports at the heart of Los Angeles during the Games is vital to ensure our sport remains at the forefront of the public."
