Katadyn Group to Showcase Military-Grade Water Systems at Warrior East

Aquifer 3300 and HFD to headline lineup of advanced field-ready hydration solutions

Katadyn Group, a global leader in sustainable hydration, nutrition and cooking solutions, will present its most advanced water purification technologies at Warrior East, June 25–26 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Hosted by ADS, Inc., Warrior East connects military, law enforcement and first responder professionals with the latest mission-critical gear and training.

At the event, Katadyn Group will highlight two of its leading water systems: the Aquifer 3300 and the Hands-Free Desalinator (HFD).

The Aquifer 3300 is a high-output, portable desalination unit capable of producing up to 3,300 gallons (12,500 liters) of clean drinking water per day from fresh, brackish or seawater. Lightweight and rugged, it is packaged in two cases, each under 190 pounds, and operates with a compact 2-kilowatt generator or solar array. With simple controls and no need for specialized training, the Aquifer 3300 is ideal for mobile military operations.

“Reliability is essential in mission-critical situations. Katadyn Group’s water treatment solutions are trusted by military forces and emergency response teams around the world,” said Chris Voxland, president of Katadyn Desalination and president of Katadyn North America. “The Aquifer 3300 gives field teams true water supply independence in critical missions. Its portability, efficiency and reliability are unmatched.”

Also featured will be the Hands-Free Desalinator (HFD), the most compact electrically powered desalinator in its class. Weighing just 48.5 pounds, the HFD treats fresh, brackish and seawater, producing up to 40 gallons (151 liters) of clean water per day. It can be powered by a NATO slave cable, solar panel, vehicle battery or small generator, giving small teams operational flexibility in the field.

In addition to its high-performance water systems, Katadyn Group’s portfolio includes compact stove systems from Optimus, military-focused nutrition packages from NRG-5, and lightweight filtration solutions like the BeFree AC Microfilter, designed for rapid hydration while on the move.

In advance of Warrior East, Katadyn Group announced the appointment of Chad Reams as Military Business Development Manager for North America. Reams will spearhead Katadyn’s innovation and sales initiatives for military systems throughout North America.

“Chad brings deep experience from the U.S. Air Force and an extensive background in military survival,” Voxland said. “We’re proud to welcome him to our team.”

Katadyn Group will be on-site at Warrior East, Booth #236, to connect with military and tactical professionals and discuss water purification solutions for individual and unit-level needs.
