Savage Range Systems awarded RCMP Regina Shooting Range project

WESTFIELD, MA: Savage Range Systems, Inc., sister company to Savage Arms, has been awarded a contract for a 25.8 meter wide Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Regina indoor shooting range. The shooting range is designed with 16 lanes. Over 2700 cadets will train at this facility within the next year.

According to Rob Beug from P3 Architecture in Regina, " We selected the Wet Snail System as a result of extensive research. After visiting several installations, we learned that the Snail System had the lowest life cycle costs, and provided the shooter with the safest and cleanest environment. "

The facility is scheduled for completion in the summer 2007.

Other installations in Canada include York Regional Police, Peel Regional Police, Holland College (Atlantic Police Academy, PEI) and RCMP at Ottawa,
