VIRGINIA BEACH, VA -- The 86th North American Wildlife and Natural Resources Conference in conjunction with the National Military Fish & Wildlife Association (NMFWA) 2021 Annual Meeting and Training Workshop will be a virtual event for the first time in their history, but iSportsman once again is supporting the event as a Silver Level Sponsor. Key iSportsman staff will be available through the conference’s virtual booths March 8-12.
Steve Williams, president of the Wildlife Management Institute, addressed attendees in a pre-recorded video on the decision to host the conference virtually for the first time in its history.
“I regret not meeting in person,” said Williams, but this year, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, there is “a critical need to keep our colleagues safe… Due to the current challenges facing resource management, the need to meet together will likely never diminish. We thank all of our partners for their generous support of this meeting and for what it achieves.”
This will mark more than 10 years of support for the joint conference put on by the Wildlife Management Institute and NMFWA. iSportsman, the leading recreational program management software-as-a-service in the nation, is the enterprise solution for the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army and can be found on nearly 50 bases across the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii, including several U.S. Marine Corps bases, national wildlife refuges and on public walk-in areas in the state of Kansas.
The North American Wildlife and Natural Resources virtual conference allows attendees to visit iSportsman’s virtual booth, where we will have representatives available for questions and one-on-one video calls. The iSportsman virtual booth will also have downloadable information materials, interactive polls, and promotional videos. The company will be giving away an iSportsman t-shirt to every conference attendee who stops by their virtual booth and leaves their contact information and shirt size. There will also be larger product prize drawings for those who visit virtually.
During the conference, iSportsman intends on showcasing its Covid utility achievements in 2020, as well as make a huge announcement about a partnership that promises to globally expand the service’s utility to every agency, organization, company and even individuals interested in better managing recreational, forestry and other activities on their lands.
“It was a challenging year for everyone in 2020, but the offshoot is interest and participation in outdoor activities skyrocketed and the need for better ways to manage activities on both public and shared private lands is more important than ever,” says Doug Howlett, COO of iSportsman. “iSportsman succeeded at adapting to challenging times, and we look forward to the opportunity to engage in the community that is shaping natural resource policy at the North American conference.”
