WHERE: Eagle Station Trailhead. 424 South 400 West, Greenfield. *If the trailhead parking is full, parking is available at the business across the street. Please do not park in the grass.

BACKGROUND: The 1.32-mile trail extension of the Pennsy Trail now provides nearly 11 miles of continuous trail connecting western Hancock County and Indianapolis. The trail is planned to be a portion of a larger, statewide trail known as the National Road Heritage Trail. In partnership with local organizations, this Pennsy Trail extension was funded through a $670,803 grant from Round 2 of Governor Holcomb’s Next Level Trails initiative.
