Hydra Weaponry’s Modular Lowers offer the ability to change Magazine Wells on one's Lower Receiver to accommodate whatever caliber the individual wants. It is ideally suited for use with the Hydra Quick Change Barrel Upper Receiver (QCB-D), where one can change calibers by switching out barrels as well. These Modular Lowers are available for the MARCK-15, as well as the Hydra 10. The Modular Lowers for the MARCK-15 are offered with an assortment of magazine wells in a variety of calibers, or no magazine well at all.

Hydra Weaponry offers an array of Interchangeable Magazine Wells, including the 9MM H5 (MP5) Modular Magazine Well, 9MM SMG-9C Modular Magazine Well, AK-47 Modular Magazine Well, AR Modular Magazine Well, and AR-LC 5.56 (California Magazine Well). The interchangeable magazine wells are designed to be used with Hydra’s Modular Lower Receiver and Hydra’s QCB upper receiver. Using the magazines designed for the specific caliber ensures trouble-free feeding, something that has always been problematic in other caliber conversions. No tools are required to make the magazine well change and can be done in less than one minute. There is no need to change any other parts in the lower receiver allowing the operator to maintain the same trigger feel as normal.
