Mule Deer Foundation Seeking Applicants for Director of Communications

Salt Lake City, Utah: The Mule Deer Foundation (MDF), a 501(c)3 non-profit wildlife conservation organization, is actively seeking applicants for a Director of Communications position within its headquarters in Salt Lake City, UT. Individuals with a strong background in communicating issues pertaining to wildlife and habitat conservation, hunting, and other outdoor issues and the impacts of these on our society, are encouraged to apply.

The Mule Deer Foundation Director of Communications will be responsible for all activities related to communicating the organization’s mission and implementing its message and brand. Responsibilities will include developing and implementing an overall communications strategy and serving as the curator of the MDF brand and message. He/she will maintain a close relationship with media at local and national levels and work daily to amplify MDF’s story across various content channels. The Director of Communications will be a valuable member of the MDF team and report directly to the President/CEO.
