After 22 reports mufflers melting plastic heat shields, American Honda is recalling all model year 2016-2017 and “some” model year 2018 Honda Pioneer 1000 Vehicles. The recalled vehicles were sold in colors including red, blue, green, gray and yellow. They were sold at authorized Honda Powersports dealers nationwide from October 2016 through April 2018.

Recently, a federal judge ordered the parties in an economic-loss class action to remind owners of certain Remington firearms that a settlement has been reached. The settlement involves two classes. The first class includes owners of firearms that utilize a trigger connector. The second class includes owners of firearms that utilize the X-Mark Pro trigger mechanism that is the subject of a voluntary safety recall.

IWI US is conducting a recall of all Galil ACE (GAP39) pistols that have a receiver with a 3-pin (3-hole) fire control group construction. While these pistols cannot fire automatically, BATF&E has historically held that AK type receivers with 3-pin (3-hole) fire control groups are, by definition, machine gun receivers.

Easton has issued a recall for four different sizes and batch numbers of their Axis arrows. The arrows in question were sold in archery specialty stores and Academy Sports, Bass Pro, Cabela's, Gander Mountain and Scheels stores nationwide from February 2013 through May 2013 for about $154 per dozen. According to the recall notice, the arrows can "break when fired and hit unintended targets, including the user and bystanders."

Thompson/Center Arms™ has identified a condition that may cause the safety lever on certain ICON®, VENTURE™ and DIMENSION® rifles to bind, preventing the safety from becoming fully engaged. In this situation, closing the bolt may move the safety to the fire position. The rifle will not fire unless the trigger is pulled. However, a recall has been issued for all ICON, VENTURE and DIMENSION rifles manufactured by Thompson/Center Arms prior to June 13, 2013.
