An off-duty Oklahoma City police officer was attacked by three men February 15 when he attempted to escort them from a bar. As a result, Officer Chad Peery suffered fractures in his neck, and is now a quadriplegic. A benefit event is being organized for March 12th during which a raffle and auction will be held to raise money for the Peery family.
