Whitetails Unlimited Supports S3DA

Whitetails Unlimited recently issued a grant in the amount of $5,000 to the national arm of the Scholastic 3D Archery program. Started in 2015, S3DA focuses on indoor and outdoor 3-D archery competition. The program is an after school program that can be run through not only schools, but archery shops, churches, ASA clubs, fire stations, etc. Students are free to choose their own equipment with no restrictions on brand or company. Currently, S3DA has 194 clubs competing in 34 states with 2,896 students participating.

"S3DA and Whitetails Unlimited is a great partnership," said Program Service Director Russ Austad. "There is a proven natural progression between 3-D target shooting and hunting. The more kids that we can encourage to take up 3-D target shooting, the more kids we will see in the woods."
