Briarwood Sporting Club, located in the heart of Logan County, Ohio, is quickly becoming the go-to spot for hunters, fisherman, and outdoorsman alike. Originally, Briarwood Sporting Club operated as a private, members-only fishing club since its founding in 1977. Now, Briarwood offers non-members the ability to embark on the hunt of a lifetime on the breathtaking Ohio property.

The club came under new ownership when Chris and Kristy Daniels acquired the club in September of 2008. The Daniels were immediately taken with the beauty and expanse of the property and quickly began forming a plan to integrate hunting into the equation.

"When Kristy and I laid eyes on the property for the first time, we both fell in love with it. We knew it was something special," says Chris Daniels. He continues, "Families have been making memories here for generations, and we wanted to be a part of that. As passionate outdoor enthusiasts, we felt like hunting was a natural fit."

In addition to having the option to fish 16 beautiful and well-stocked lakes across the property, guests now have the option to embark on fully-guided estate hunts or semi-guided open range hunts. This year, Briarwood has secured exclusive hunting rights to prime whitetail property in Logan County.

Services included with the hunting packages are field dressing and caping of your trophy, transportation of trophy to the local taxidermist, and transportation to the local processor.

"This type of hunting opportunity dovetails well into our existing activities, and we provide the same level of experience Briarwood has established over the years," says Kristy Daniels. She goes on to say, "If you're looking to bag a trophy Midwestern whitetail, Briarwood is your destination!"

Briarwood also offers four rustic lodges, each located on their own private lake. Each lodge features DirecTV, Wi-Fi, modern kitchens, massive stone fireplaces, recreation equipment, and large wooden decks complete with outdoor grilling stations for the ultimate stay. All meals and beverages are included for the duration of the visit. Briarwood also offers transportation of guests to and from the airport.
