ScoutTreX: New Feature In ScoutLook Hunting App

SYRACUSE, NEW YORK – As fall hunting seasons go into full swing, ScoutLook app users are racking up millions of sessions in the free ScoutLook Hunting app.

"More than 1,000 new users per day are logging in and using our mobile tools to hunt smarter," explained Josh Dahlke, ScoutLook's VP of Operations and Content. "We take pride in keeping our apps clean—no gaudy, fluffy updates to clutter the user experience. A new feature was just added to our Hunting app that users will really appreciate: ScoutTreX."

Think of ScoutTreX as a digital breadcrumb trail. While you're in the field, open the ScoutLook Hunting app and tap on the small boot icon at the bottom of the screen. Press "Play" and all your movements will be tracked using your phone's GPS, and will appear on the map in your preferred color (six color options). ScoutTreX will tell you how far you traveled, your average speed, and the total amount of time traveled (duration).

What's the fastest route to my treestand?
How long will it take me to get to that ridge I scouted last month?
I wish I would've marked that blood trail better.
When do I need to leave in order to make it to my truck before dark?

ScoutTreX is the answer to all those common questions. And we're sure hunters will find countless additional ways to harness the power of this new feature in the ScoutLook Hunting app.
