Sinclair Sponsors Wyoming Women's Antelope Hunt

LARAMIE, WY— To those traveling across the state, Sinclair is known for their big green dinosaur. To the Wyoming Women's Antelope Hunt and other community organizations looking for support, Sinclair is known for their generosity.

Sinclair, a leader in oil and gas since 1916, is a Hunter Sponsor of this year's fifth annual Wyoming Women's Antelope Hunt, hosted by the Wyoming Women's Foundation. Their sponsorship shows understanding of hunting as a long-standing Wyoming tradition and the impact hunting can have on women as they strive to gain economic self-sufficiency.

"Sinclair is proud to support the Wyoming Women's Foundation," says Susan Sharp, Vice President of Sinclair's Safety and Regulatory Excellence and Wyoming Women's Foundation Board Member. "This will be our third year sponsoring a hunter at the hunt and it is always an incredible experience."

With a focus on hunting, mentorship, and camaraderie, the 2017 hunt will bring together 46 hunters. The Wyoming Women's Antelope Hunt will be held Oct. 12-15, 2017, at the Ranch at Ucross in northeast Wyoming. The event raises funds and awareness for the Wyoming Women's Foundation. Since inception, the hunt has raised more than $280,000 for special projects to help women and girls work toward economic self-sufficiency across Wyoming.

"As a major employer in the state of Wyoming, Sinclair is pleased to support the efforts of the Women's Foundation in improving economic self-sufficiency for women and families in Wyoming," says Sharp.

Director of the Wyoming Women's Foundation, Sarah Chapman is delighted about Sinclair's ongoing support. "We are so pleased that Sinclair is investing in the hunt and in women," says Director of the Wyoming Women's Foundation, Sarah Chapman. "With support from organizations like Sinclair, we are making incredible strides in our mission to help women achieve economic self-sufficiency,"

Please visit the Wyoming Women's Antelope Hunt webpage at www.wyomingwomensantelopehunt.org for more information on sponsorship and individual participation, including scholarships. The foundation is also seeking dinner sponsors and in-kind donations for its fundraising auctions on Oct. 13.
