TUALATIN, OREGON— Timeless AL MAR™ KNIVES designs meet Kershaw's precision manufacturing and meticulous fit and finish to bring you updated versions of two of the most iconic AL MAR™ KNIVES.
For 2017, Kershaw is proud to the AM-3 and AM-4 to make these famous AL MAR™ designs available to a wider market.
For these models, Kershaw added SpeedSafe assisted opening and flippers for quick and easy one-handed opening. Back locks have been replaced by frame and liner locks. And both models feature top-quality materials—like polished and crowned G-10 and 8Cr13MoV steel.
In addition to a dedication to the original designs, Kershaw kept two things in mind when creating this exciting series: quality and value. We are using top-notch materials, including top-of-the-line blade steel and real G-10 scales. Plus, we're paying special attention to details; for instance, the front G-10 scales on the AM-3 and AM-4 are crowned—contoured for a comfortable grip and to bring out the grain in the G-10. Red backspacers add another handsome touch. Yet we're keeping the prices down on these classic knives. With MSRPs ranging from $44.99 to $49.99, Kershaw is making them affordable for a wide range of customers.
