Willow Weaving Workshops at Mississinewa Lake

Have you ever thought about learning the traditional art of basket weaving? Join instructor Viki Graber, a 4th generation willow basket maker, for a School of the Folk Arts Willow Weaving Workshop on June 2-3 at Mississinewa Lake (4673 S 625 E, Peru, IN 46970).

Make a willow trivet on Friday June 2, 6 – 8 p.m. Cost is $25 (includes all materials). Session limited to 10 participants. A light meal will be provided.

Make a willow bread basket on Saturday June 3, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Cost is $95 (includes all materials). Session limited to 6 participants. A light meal will be provided.

Early registration is required. Register by calling (260) 468-2127 by May 22.

This event was made possible by a grant through Traditional Arts Indiana.

The regular gate fees of $7 per in-state vehicle and $9 per out-of-state vehicle apply.
