Ham Lake, MN – Vapor Trail Archery is a proud to be the title sponsor of the 100-Yard Archery Challenge at the 34th Annual Minnesota Game Fair in Ramsey, MN August 12-14 and August 19-21. The challenge, now in its fifth year, has been sponsored by Vapor Trail for the past two years.

The Archery Challenge encourages attendees of Game Fair to test their skills at shooting a 10-inch diameter balloon at 100 yards to qualify for the championship which will take place the last Sunday of Game Fair 2016. Attendees of any age may enter by just paying a $10 entry fee to attempt to pre-qualify. Each contestant is allowed 3 shots at the balloon at 100-yards. Contestants can pre-qualify for the championship while attending Game Fair on August 12, 13, 14, 19 and 20th. The Championship Shoot-Down will be Sunday, August 21 at 3:00 P.M.

The Championship Shoot-Down allows all pre-qualified contestants to shoot two arrows until only 3 contestants remain. The 1st Place winner takes home $500, 2nd Place winner gets $300 and the 3rd Place winner will earn $200. If during the Championship, the shooter misses the balloon but does hit a Vapor Trail sticker, they will receive a free set of Vapor Trail strings and cables. Also, if either the 1st place winner or 2nd place winner is using a Vapor Trail Limb Driver for the contest, the 1st place winner will get an additional $100 contingency check. The 2nd place winner will get a $50 check if using a Vapor Trail Limb Driver for the shoot.

Game Fair is open to the public and admission is $12.00 for adults, $8.00 for seniors, $5.00 for kids 6-14 and free to kids under 6 years of age. This is a great family event held outdoors on a beautiful 80 acres of woods and water.
