PFBC to sponsor Catch the Value!
Heat of the Summer Kayak Package Giveaway

HARRISBURG, Pa. – The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) has partnered with Cabela's to sponsor a kayak package giveaway during the heat of the summer.

The grand prize in this unique giveaway is an Emotion Kayaks Stealth Angler 11 fishing kayak, an advanced angler tackle bag, a cool mesh life jacket, and a Fish Eagle Classic rod/reel combo, all donated by Cabela's.

The public can enter the giveaway by visiting www.GoneFishingPA.com from July 29 through Sept. 2, or by entering in person at the PFBC booth at the upcoming Pennsylvania 400 race weekend at Pocono Raceway, Long Pond, PA. PFBC staff plan on being at the Raceway's Fan Fair corporate exhibit area July 29-31, starting at 8 a.m. each day.

"This is an opportunity for us to invite people to come and visit us at the raceway, which annually draws tens of thousands of fans, and is a signature event in Northeastern PA," said Steve Kralik, PFBC Director of Outreach, Education and Marketing. "It also gives us a chance to speak with people and promote the good fishing and boating opportunities available during summer months in the Commonwealth."

"We particularly want to thank Cabela's for donating the prizes," he added. "One lucky individual is going to be nicely equipped for kayak fishing later this year."

The winner will be notified after September 20. A date, time and location for the winner to pick up the kayak package will be determined in the weeks after the winner is notified. No purchase is required and only one entry per qualifying adult will be accepted.
