Event thanking military highlights 5th annual "Cabela's Awesome Upland Road Trip … destination Kansas"

Wingshooting USA TV's 5th annual "Cabela's Awesome Upland Road Trip … destination Kansas" kicks off Monday, June 27. In addition to a chance to win an array of prizes including Cabela's dog and upland hunting gear, this year's Road Trip Kansas destination is a chance for fans of the show to say thanks to active-duty and retired military. Fans will hunt alongside service members and vets at the "Fur Feathers Friends" event, scheduled for Veterans Day weekend at Ravenwood Lodge near Topeka.

Producer/host Scott Linden and his television crew will travel across six states this fall on the "Road Trip," producing episodes of the TV series, and attending a number of other events including the Pheasant Classic at the Mitchell, SD, Cabela's store, where Linden will sign books and introduce fans to his German Wirehaired pointer, Manny. The trip culminates at the Topeka event in mid-November.

Fans can enter the Road Trip contest at the Wingshooting USA Facebook page; those who wish to attend or support the Fur Feathers Friends event can find more information at https://furfeathersfriends.eventbrite.com

The most watched bird hunting show on the air, Wingshooting USA is now in its eighth season on the air, supported by lead sponsor the National Shooting Sports Foundation. The show is broadcast year-round on eleven television networks. More information: www.scottlindenoutdoors.com.
