Furrer Promoted to QDMA Senior Regional Director and Field Supervisor

ATHENS, GA - The Quality Deer Management Association (QDMA) is pleased to announce that Ryan Furrer of Pennsylvania has been promoted to Senior Regional Director and Field Supervisor. Furrer will lead QDMA's team of Regional Directors and be responsible for guiding grassroots activities, fundraising and membership growth.

"Ryan's track record of success as a Regional Director and his proven leadership skills made him an obvious choice to serve as QDMA's first-ever Senior Regional Director and Field Supervisor," said QDMA CEO Brian Murphy. "Ryan's new role will enable QDMA's continued growth and expansion while improving member support and mission delivery throughout the whitetail's range."

Furrer joined QDMA in 2011 and served as Regional Director for Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, and half of Ohio. He was named QDMA's Regional Director of the Year in 2014. A native of Pennsylvania, Ryan is a passionate hunter who was nationally competitive tournament archer prior to joining QDMA. Among other honors, he was the 2002 National Field Archery Association's Men's Unlimited Indoor National Champion.
