Please join me in welcoming Dr. Geoff Steinhart as the newest Fisheries Biologist at the Sandusky Fisheries Research Station. Geoff has considerable experience in both the management and academic arenas. Prior to joining the Division of Wildlife, he was a professor at Lake Superior State University in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan and received his Ph.D. from the Ohio State University while a student at the Aquatic Ecology Lab understanding the early life dynamics of smallmouth bass in Lake Erie. We look forward to his experience and expertise managing the Lake Erie fishery!
