Summer Kayak Programs: Celebrate Summer With A Paddle On Great Bay.

GREENLAND, N.H. -- The Great Bay Discovery Center at 89 Depot Road in Greenland, NH, is offering the following paddling events this summer. For more information or to register, call (603) 778-0015.

Paddling Yoga
We will begin our day practicing yoga then move to our kayaks.While exploring the bay, we will even have a chance to try some poses and stretches from the seats of our boats! We will end our trip with yoga poses specific for kayakers and our tight hamstrings and hips.
Level: No prior paddling or yoga experience necessary; Date: July 11 from 8-11am; Cost: $40 per person, $35 for Great Bay Stewards members, $30 with own kayak

Over-The-Hump Sunset Paddle
Having trouble getting through your week? Join us for a "Hump Day" sunset paddle to give you the extra boost you need to make it through the workweek. This event is sure to help you unwind from the beginning of your busy week and rejuvenate you to make it through the rest of it.
Level: No prior paddling experience necessary; Date: July 22 from 6-; Cost: $35 per person, $30 for Great Bay Stewards members, $25 with own kayak

Great Bay History Trip
Come learn about the fascinating cultural history of the Great Bay, as we journey back to the days of Native Americans and European Settlers learning how they used and interacted with the estuary.
Level: No prior paddling experience necessary; Date: August 20 from 5-8pm; Cost: $35 per person, $30 for Great Bay Stewards members, $25 with own kayak

Sunrise Birding Paddle
Join us for a morning paddle as we search for our beaked friends. As the sun rises over Great Bay, we will look for osprey, great blue heron, egret, kingfisher and many more estuary inhabitants. Countless birds call the area around the bay home, so we will hope to see a unique and diverse display of them all. Bring your friends, and together, share in a unique opportunity to paddle the bay at dawn!
