Ouabache SP to host kids day camp

Children ages 8 to 11 can explore nature at the Ouabache Wonders Day Camp at Ouabache State Park, June 15-17.

Campers will play games, make crafts, see bison, swim, hike, canoe and more. The times are 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, June 15 and 16, and 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17.

The last day will feature a campfire dinner, owl program and night hike to listen for owls. Parents are encouraged to join the night hike, which is at 9 p.m.

Cost is $50 per camper.

Parents should fill out a youth program registration form for each child. The form is available at dnr.IN.gov/uwis. Click on "Program Registration Forms."
