Coast Guard Opens Investigation into Mobile Bay Tragedies

MOBILE – Two bodies were recovered in the vicinity of Dauphin Island found to be connected to the Dauphin Island Regatta, Thursday.

The Coast Guard and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency have confirmed those recovered to be Adam Clark, a 17-year-old Mobile, Alabama resident, and Robert Thomas, a 50-year-old Pickens, Mississippi resident.

The search for the one remaining missing person continues.

The Coast Guard and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency are conducting a joint investigation into the circumstances surrounding the events in Mobile Bay on Saturday during the Dauphin Island Regatta.
