Whitetails Unlimited Seeking Program Services Director

Whitetails Unlimited has a career opportunity for a highly motivated individual as a Program Services Director. This professional, full-time, salaried position will require the individual to work out of WTU's national headquarters in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, with a June 2015 start date. This position will report directly to the Executive Director.

The Program Services Director will be tasked with managing and developing Whitetails Unlimited program services and grants while serving as a liaison between staff, wildlife agencies, conservation organizations, and media.

The Program Services Director must be a mature, energetic, self-starter who is well organized and self-confident with a very strong desire to succeed, and be able to represent Whitetails Unlimited in a professional manner. High moral standards, good character, and strong ethics are necessary.

The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Actual exposure to wildlife and conservation management is desired. Exposure to, or participation in, the shooting sports, inclusive of hunting is important. Strong long-range planning and time management skills are required, with minimal need for day-to-day supervision. Experience with Microsoft Office applications and the internet are necessary. Outstanding record keeping with a penchant for detail is mandatory. Strong communication and presentation skills are required. The ability to handle multiple tasks, shift priorities, and travel occasionally is vital. Independent decision making and problem solving skills are a must.
