Hunt Brothers Pizza Reveals Winners of Third Annual "Hunt to Win" Sweepstakes

NASHVILLE, TN - Hunt Brothers® Pizza announced the grand prize and first prize winners of the third annual "Hunt to Win" sweepstakes today. Megan Filzen of Roseville, Minnesota, is the grand prize winner of the Bad Boy Buggies® Recoil® iS Crew 4X4 hunting UTV with Realtree Xtra® camouflage pattern valued at $14,500. Chad Little of Fairhope, Alabama, is the first prize recipient of the guided hunting trip for two with Mellon Creek Outfitters sponsored by Bass Pro Shops valued at $6,100.

"I'm still in shock! I was at work when I received the call that I won, and let's just say I couldn't concentrate after that," Filzen recalled of receiving word that she had won the grand prize. "I've always enjoyed the outdoors. My dad and I used to go hunting when I was younger, and we always had a great time. The older we get, the harder it is to have that time together so we're hoping the hunting UTV will give us the opportunity to bring back those wonderful moments."

As for Little, he and his father will be visiting the Mellon Creek Outfitters ranch in South Texas. This is the first year Hunt Brothers Pizza has given away a guided hunting trip through Hunt to Win, the ultimate prize for the passionate hunter.

"We always get Hunt Brothers Pizza at our local store, and for the past two years I've been entering this sweepstakes," said Little. "I'm an avid deer hunter, but this will be the first time my father and I have gone turkey hunting. It's going to be an awesome experience, and I'm looking forward to us spending quality time together."

The Hunt to Win sweepstakes first launched to hunting fans across the country in 2012. Veteran partners Bad Boy Buggies and Realtree were eager to rejoin the excitement and success of the promotion to offer the grand prize giveaway in the third annual sweepstakes.

"The quality of our Hunt to Win promotion, along with its ability to connect with hunting enthusiasts everywhere, just keeps getting better. We owe much of our success to the continued support from some of the biggest names in the hunting and outdoor industries," said Keith Solsvig, vice president of marketing for Hunt Brothers Pizza. "The promotion has proven to directly connect with our target demographic, which ultimately keeps consumers walking into stores to satisfy their cravings for great pizza, helping our c-store partners see continued success."
In addition to sponsoring the hunting trip, Bass Pro Shops also offered 50 second, third and fourth prize winners BlackOut SS Bows, BlackOut X72 Ground Blinds and $25 gift cards, respectively. The contest ran from October 1, 2014 until December 31, 2014 and generated approximately 283,000 entries from all 50 states.
