HuntSoft App for Hunters Now Free in Apple App Store

Baton Rouge, La. - Today HuntSoft.com announced the official launch of its mobile application for Apple iOS. Developed in Louisiana, a state known for hunting and other outdoor sports, HuntSoft is the total solution for hunters who want to make the most of the data they collect each season. The free app allows hunters to easily create a map of their property, enter game log data, access weather, and more.

"So many hunters still use a paper game log for managing sightings and kills on their property," said John Barton Jr., one of the company's investors and an avid deer hunter. "Now they can quickly log the same information into our mobile app, and it automatically tags each entry with weather and lunar details," Barton said.

HuntSoft, which was launched in September as a web application, has already attracted thousands of hunters from across the United States. Now that it's available as a mobile app, hunters can quickly enter in-the-field data the moment it happens - even without an internet connection.

"Some of the best data comes while you're in the woods. The information entered into our mobile app, along with the ability to manage trail camera photos, allows hunters to better understand deer movements and patterns. The ability to forecast when and where deer will show up can make you a more successful hunter" said Barton.

HuntSoft is more than just a system of data collection. It's also a hunter-focused social network that allows for interaction and conversation with other hunters.

The mobile app is available for free for one property and up to 50 Game Log entries. Packages that cover multiple properties and additional Log entries are available for a monthly or yearly subscription fee.
