Whitetails Unlimited's Deer Camp Tour 2015 Schedule Set

Whitetails Unlimited's Deer Camp Tour 2015 schedule is set, and tickets are already selling quickly.

"Our Deer Camp Tour events have become a 'must attend' experience for many of our members, and the tour just keeps growing and getting better," said Dave Hawkey, Whitetails Unlimited's VP of field operations. "We've got 36 events in 16 states this spring, from Maine to Texas and Nebraska to Mississippi, and we expect many of them to sell out early."

The Deer Camp Tour kicks off January 10 with the Tri-Cities Deer Camp in Essexville, Michigan, and the Fort Kearney Deer Camp in Kearney, Nebraska. The last event in the spring tour is the Wisconsin Packerland event in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on April 18. There are 10 events in Wisconsin; four each in Michigan and Minnesota; three in Iowa; two in Nebraska, New York, and Ohio; and single events in Connecticut, Illinois, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Texas, and Vermont.

Tickets for all Deer Camp Tour events are available on the WTU website.

"Our Deer Camps are similar to our chapter events," said Dave Hawkey, Whitetails Unlimited's VP of field operations, "and are held in great venues, with great food, outstanding prizes and once-in-a-lifetime hunting and fishing trips. Everyone attending will receive a Deer Camp Tour 2015 shirt as a door prize, and the entire night is a celebration of both deer hunting and deer hunters."

Industry support of the Deer Camp Tour has been outstanding this year, resulting in high quality merchandise, travel destinations, and outdoor artwork being available in record numbers. There are 36 corporate sponsors for the Deer Camp Tour 2015, including Lightfield Ammunition and Cabela's as Signature Sponsors. "Companies that have partnered with Whitetails Unlimited are getting direct access to the most passionate deer hunters in the country - WTU members," said WTU Executive Director Pete Gerl. "We have a record number of sponsors, and great merchandise for door prizes, silent and live auctions, and raffle items. We've got custom-engraved firearms, art from the country's top artists, merchandise that every deer hunter can use, and adventure travel packages that range from African safaris to hog hunting in Texas to fishing in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Attending a Deer Camp is a great way to cure the midwinter blues."
