Fowl Forecast Shows Best Year Ever in October Issue of Wildfowl

PEORIA, IL - It is a great time to be a duck hunter. The 2014 Fall Flight Forecast in the October issue of Wildfowl, on newsstands now, shows with nearly 50 million breeding ducks, this fall is literally the best year ever to go hunting.

The forecast gives a breakdown of the expanded limits in Canada for 2014 along with a region-by-region report giving everything from bag limits changes to estimated quantity of birds as reported by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service.

"Our fowl forecast is a feature our hunters look forward to every year - they plan their trips around and take the magazine with them," said Skip Knowles, editor of Wildfowl. "The conditions for ducks were just perfect this year with above-average rainfall in much of the nation - some duck species are up 14 percent! These are definitely the good years for us."

In addition to a wealth of data presented in the magazine, Wildfowl also has more reports on "Best New Waterfowl Guns for 2014" and "Best New Waterfowl Camo & Clothing for 2014" at http://WildfowlMag.com

Other highlights in this issue include: the explosion of using GoPro and Garmin-style style compact action video cameras afield when out in the woods, a feature on wood ducks and tactics to find them and a review of Winchester's new duck load.
