PA Historical Marker Dedication Announced

Monument To Be Placed Aug. 28 At Former Game Commission Training School Site.

The Pennsylvania Historical And Museum Commission With The Pennsylvania Game Commission Announce The Dedication Of An Official State Historical Marker Commemorating The Original Site Of The Ross Leffler School Of Conservation On Thursday, Aug. 28 At Noon.

Marker Location
The Marker Will Be Placed At The Original Site Of The Pennsylvania Game Commission's Ross Leffler School Of Conservation, In Brockway, Jefferson County, Pa., At The Intersection Of Game School Road (sr 1011) And Empire Ridge Road.

The Ross Leffler School Of Conservation Was The First Academy In The Nation Devoted Entirely To The Training Of Game Protectors, Later Known As Wildlife Conservation Officers.

Directions From Intersection Of Interstate 80 And Route 28 - Travel 12.8 Miles North On Route 28. Make Left Turn Onto Game School Road (sr 1011). Travel 3.5 Miles To Empire Ridge Road On Your Right. The Road Marker Will Be At This Location.
