PahaQue® Wilderness is adding to their growing line of family camping equipment with a new hammock designed to eliminate the uncomfortable "mummy effect" of traditional camping hammocks, and a line of new waterproof TentRugs. Anyone who has climbed into a typical camping hammock and found themselves wrapped up awkwardly like a mummy will appreciate the comfort of the PahaQue Hammock. It provides a wide open feeling and comes in both single and double-wide sizes. The secret is their use of spreader bars that relieve pressure on your shoulders and upper body to provide an open, comfortable feeling and eliminate the mummy effect of regular camping hammocks. A heavy-duty strap support system allows easy, adjustable and secure mounting. For quick and easy storage, the PahaQue hammocks come with a built-in stuff sack. Made of Nylon 170T, with a 1500g/m coating, these hammocks, available in Navy/Light Blue and Olive/Khaki, are sturdy and durable. The single model ($49) is 112"x57" and has a weight capacity of 350 pounds. The double ($59) is 118"x79" and supports 400 pounds.
PahaQue Introduces New Products at OR Summer Market
The new PahaQue TentRug will be available in 8'x8' and 10'x10' sizes, will work in any make or model tent and combines good looks with practical efficiency. The underside is a durable waterproof material, which adds another layer of moisture protection and warmth to your tent. The top surface is made of plush low-pile nylon carpeting, which is easy to clean, machine-washable and comfortable, especially if you are barefoot. Retail prices are $39 and $49 respectively. PahaQue has also expanded their line of high-performance tents with the addition of the new Green Mountain 5XD (10'x10') and an upgraded version of Green Mountain 4XD (8'x8') tents. Utilizing a hybrid pole set, the Green Mountain tents offer the same high performance at a more affordable price.
