Will Patience Prevail During Spring Bear Hunt in Montana on Sportsman Channel's Bowhunter TV?

Tune-in Friday, April 18 at 8 p.m. ET/PT and Find Out

NEW BERLIN, WI- Sportsman Channel, the leader in outdoor television for American sportsmen and women, announces a new and unpredictable episode of Bowhunter TV. Curt Wells, host, embarks on a captivating spring bear hunt in the wilds of Montana. The landscape provides an abundance of bears. But when it comes to hunting, Wells knows quantity doesn't always mean quality. He must remain patient, or risk losing sight of his prey on this week's hunting adventure on Bowhunter TV on Sportsman Channel, Friday, April 18 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

While Wells and his crew contend with fickle mountain wind currents as they search for the "right" bear, they have an unexpected encounter with an entirely different species of predator - wolves. Two gray wolves stumble onto Wells and his guide but they show no fear of humans.

"I will admit the wolf sighting was exciting but we quickly got back to the task of locating a good bear," said Wells. "We spotted plenty of bears but I was being fussy and holding out for a big bear and that takes patience."

Also in this episode, Hunting Editor, Dwight Schuh, arrows a bear in Saskatchewan and Wells tops it off by passing along some bear hunting advice on timing and shot placement in his "Moment of Truth" segment.
