Everyone is invited to come out to the Patoka Lake Visitor Center on Saturday, May 10th from 11a.m. -3p.m. for a Welcome Ceremony & Open House to meet our new ambassador Bald Eagle for educational programming. Refreshments and light snacks will be served. Join us over cake to celebrate the introduction of this beautiful non-releasable bird into our educational family. Enjoy the kid's craft station inside the Visitor Center where many eagle themed crafts can be made to take home!

The schedule will be as follows:

• 11a.m. - 3p.m. Bald Eagle and Eastern Screech Owl in backyard viewing shelters
  
• 11:30a.m. Prey /Predator game for the kids on the south lawn
  
• Noon - 2:30p.m. Refreshments indoors at the Visitor Center
  
• 12:30p.m. - Picture Yourself with the Eagle
