Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Sports Show Actively Promotes Women

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Sports Show announces the all new Ladies Lodge featuring female friendly vendors, practical seminars by women for women as well female celebrities and demonstrations.

Join like-minded women in the Ladies Lodge for an unprecedented experience. Never before has a retail sports show created a designated section with signature drinks, practical seminars and a zero intimidation area designed specifically for women who may not feel comfortable asking questions and trying new products surrounded by men.

"No other sports show is promoting women like the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Sports Show, as the Grand Daddy of all Sports Shows, it's fitting that we set the trend and let women know we take them seriously. That we are actively working towards cultivating their interest in outdoor sports while at the same time providing an environment in which they can confidently ask questions without fear of being mocked." Stated Carrie Zylka. "And it's not all pink bows either, these are vendors that specifically seek out the female consumer and let them know they want your business, and speakers that live and breathe hunting or fishing or archery."

Men are welcome in the Ladies Lodge in the spirit of supporting the female in their life as well as generating interest in their wife/girlfriend/sister/daughter.

While available throughout the show, signature drinks such as the "Camo-politan" and the "Lost Island Iced Tea" will be featured at Ladies Night, Friday, March 7. Appetizers and beverages will be available for purchase during the ultra-social time where women are encouraged to meet and interact with other like-minded women.

Seminar speakers include Carrie Mess, Marianne Huskey, Jill Marton, Zelenda Koch, Larry Smith and more.

Ladies Lodge exhibitors include (but are not limited to) Zippo Outdoors, Cabela's OutfitHER, Hawke Sport Optics, Fishingbaitz, Wisconsin Quality Deer Management Women's Branch, Wisconsin Women Fish, Wild World of CarrieZ Hunting, Fishing & Outdoor Podcast, and the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center - Sky Hunter's Raptor Program.
