Hunters who need to complete a New York hunter safety course before getting their hunting license now can get started on their official training at hunter-ed.com/newyork/.

Students also can take their New York hunter safety course on a smartphone, tablet, e-reader, laptop or Internet TV. The course pages will automatically adjust to fit any device with no app required so the videos, graphics and animations are always easy to see.

New York law requires anyone 12 years or older to complete a hunter safety course before obtaining a New York hunting license. To complete New York hunter education requirements, students must take either a traditional or a home study course. The online course at hunter-ed.com is acceptable as home study, but must be followed by registering for a hunter education field day.
